England Bowling Association president John Austin brought two teams to his home county.
First was a trip to Oxford City & County to mark their 65th anniversary. The president's men triumphed 222-183 and by eight rinks to two. The following day, the EBA visited Charlbury when a more usual complement of six rinks came unstuck against Oxon Past Presidents' BA, losing 104-132.
Meanwhile, Oxon president Mike Pargeter teamed up with OWBA president Sylvia Rogers to take a combined side to celebrate Cotswold BC's 65th anniversary, the combined side winning 131-82.
Donations of 148 to the OBA's Millennium charity, Cancer and Leukaemia in Childhood, brought the total so far to more than 3,600.
