Witney Town extended their lead at the top of Division 4, in the Kennington Bowls Specialists Oxford & District League, thanks to a 5-1 victory over rivals Charlbury.
Kidlington's promotion ambitions were dented when they lost all six points away to Morris Motors.
Division 3 saw the top two teams move further ahead, with Banbury Chestnuts narrowly defeating OUP, and Witney Mills beating bottom club Hanborough 5-1.
Another emphatic win for West Witney saw them jump to the top of Division 2, replacing Rover, who have a game in hand. s Bloxham and Blackbird Leys both climbed out of the relegation places with good wins over West Oxford and Headington respectively.
In Division 1, Bicester recorded another victory, making full use of home advantage to see off Summertown by five points.
Thame return to top spot with a 4-2 victory against South Oxford, and Brian Slatter's rink helped City & County pick up three welcome points against Banbury Central.
