Consumer Affairs Minister Kim Howells was visiting Oxford today with a group of American entrepreneurs on a tour of key regeneration projects in the city.
Dr Howells and the eight US business leaders went on a guided bus tour of Blackbird Leys before visiting The Barn community centre. They were also visiting the Oxford Centre for Innovation in Mill Street, where they were meeting members of the Oxford Trust and other business leaders to discuss how technology is helping to regenerate parts of the city.
The visit was arranged by the Department of Trade and Industry, the Treasury and the American Embassy.
