Oxford's only monthly music magazine, Nightshift, celebrates its fifth birthday with two triple-bill specials at The Point.
On Friday (July 7), experimental dark-popsters Vigilance Black Special (who recently released We're Wolves for the Shifty Disco Singles Club) top the bill.
Support comes from Paper Sun - with their infectious brand of guitar-fuelled pop - and The Workhouse. Their off-the-wall astral-tripping instrumentals make it an absolute must to arrive early. Nightshift's celebrations continue at The Point on Saturday. It's the night of the noiseniks with Didcot's Jor heading the line-up. Charlbury's teen-tearaways Wingnut fill the main support slot, while X-1 open proceedings with their scorching brand of jazz-tinged raw punk rock.
