Neil Megson is prepared to risk all to lead Banbury to the Premier Division title this season, writes Michael Knox.
Under his leadership, Banbury, who visit Basingstoke and North Hants tomorrow, head the table, having won six and lost two of their eight matches.
"Under the points system, it's worth risking defeat to win matches and that's a policy we've been adopting," said Megson.
It has certainly paid dividends and it doesn't seem to matter whether they bat first or second.
"Even though we've lost twice, we've not played a side who I felt were better than us," said Megson. "Three of the strongest sides have put us in to bat, and we've ended up bowling them out to win the game," he added.
