A golf club is joining the fundraising drive in memory of a young cancer victim.
About 9,000 has already been donated to a special cancer ward at Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital, where Jason Broome was a patient for six years before his death last August at the age of 25.
Now Carswell Golf Club, near Faringdon, is teaming up with his family to pay tribute to Jason and to boost the hospital appeal.
They are hosting the Jason Broome Memorial Golf Day, an open competition followed by an evening disco and buffet, on Friday, August 4.
