Police are investigating after an Oxford man was electrocuted by a live railway line.
Yasha Mozaffari, 21, died instantly when he stepped on to the live rail at sidings in Winchester station, Hampshire.
His friend, Peter Coventry, from Essex, suffered shock and burns after trying to pull the body off the line.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said they were treating the incident on Friday as a tragic accident and planned to examine CCTV footage.
