Kevin Tunstall, from Roke near Benson, has been crowned the All-England singles champion for a record-equalling fourth time.
The Oxfordshire champion's latest triumph means he has matched the number of wins by Bernie McCluskey, from Reading.
Tunstall, who plays for The Chequers, Dorchester-on-Thames during the winter, captured the crown by beating Sussex champion Jim Milward in straight games in the final at the Reading Post Office Social Club.
On his way to the final, Tunstall, the Wallingford and District League secretary, defeated the Surrey, Hants and Berkshire champions.
He has now won no fewer than 26 major titles, having last year appeared in no fewer than five finals.
During the summer season, Tunstall plays for the Hare and Hounds, Sonning Common, for whom he has won eight out of eight.
