The Save Our Speedway campaign is still going strong and Chris Brown has outlined some coming events to boost funds.
Grand Prix social evenings will be held for the final two GPs on September 2 and 23 when the action will be displayed on a 36-inch screen thanks to Unipart and Granada.
The venues have not been decided at the moment, but tickets at 6 adults and 2 children are available at the Patrons Bar during race-night intervals.
The golf day at Drayton Park on October 12 will be an 18-hole team competition followed by a three-course evening meal.
Jimmy Nilsen is organising the riders to play in the teams of four with each team consisting of one rider and three players. Riders confirmed to date are Nilsen, Steve Johnston, Todd Wiltshire and Mark Lemon.
The cost is 120 per team, but if anyone cannot make up a team of three, individual applications will be welcome.
There will be prizes for winning teams and profits go to SOS.
The greyhound night has been pencilled in for Tuesday, September 12.
The organisers advise advance purchase of tickets and the GRA have kindly allowed SOS to retain a large proportion of the advance ticket sales.
