Public meetings are being held for pupils who have not got a place at the school of their choice.
Pupils and parents from Marston, Oxford, are invited to two meetings to discuss the problem of getting places at their preferred schools.
A rising number of Marston pupils have not been able to get into their favoured school this year, partly because of the threat of closure facing Milham Ford Girls School.
County councillor Tom Richardson, a member of the education committee, Marston city councillor Mary Clarkson and Lord Mayor Maureen Christian will be at the meetings, taking place tomorrow (Saturday) at 10.30am at the New Marston Pastoral Centre in Jack Straws Lane and at 8pm on Tuesday (August 15) at the Northway Community Centre, Maltfield Road, Oxford.
