Milton Heights, the Abingdon branch of the Home Farm Trust charity, was given 636 by Moss Construction, the main contractor for Milton Park's Park Gate office development.
The cash was raised through two charity events, an on-site raffle and a quiz evening involving teams representing the client, main contractor, architect, quantity surveyor, structural engineer and sub contractors. The money raised will help complete a new sensory room at Milton Heights, which is designed to help people with learning difficulties. Combinations of music, lighting visual effects, tactile objects and aromas are used.
The 8m Park Gate development is due for completion this month.
