Opticians Haine and Smith which has branches throughout Oxfordshire, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire are raising funds for The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association to celebrate 25 years in business, writes Sarah Parker.
The company will donate 2.50 from every sight test in a bid to raise 10,000 to sponsor the training of four guide dogs. The initiative also aims to promote the importance of eye care.
Haine and Smith was established in 1975 by Sue Haine and Barry Smith and has 19 practices.
Mr Smith said: "This is an important year for us. We are delighted to have come so far over the last 25 years and would like to share our success with Guide Dogs for the Blind."
