Runaway leaders Kimble suffered their first defeat of the season as they went down by 114 runs to second-placed Bourton Vale.
Richard Howell hit a splendid 136 for Vale as they made 250 all out. He shared in partnerships of 106 for the first wicket with Garath Rowley (37) and 110 for the second with Philip Hawtry (43) for Vale, who slipped from 216-2 as Salem Fazal claimed 5-98 and Alex Bull 3-45.
Kimble then collpased from 88-1 to 136 all out after Mark Bray made 62 as Neil Langenhoven (5-41) and Gareth Agg (3-50) did the damage.
