Classic Press Cherwell League - Division 1
Oxford Nondescripts plunged deeper into trouble at the foot of the table with a six-wicket defeat against relegation rivals Buckingham.
Going into the game, Nondies were one place and one point above Buckingham, who were in the drop zone, but now they have exchanged places with Nondies 19 points adrift.
Put into bat, Nondies could manage only 153 all out - for which they were indebted to a fine fourth-wicket partnership of 90 between James Drake-Brockman (66) and Martin Cox (36) before the last seven wickets went down for just 22 runs.
Steve Beck was the chief destroyer with 6-65, and he then smashed a hard-hit 68, which with Will Hearsey's dogged 41, took Buckingham to 156-4 in just 38 overs.
