A NEW new online service for car buyers and motorists set up by insurance company Direct Line has gained a certificate from electronic commerce quality control company Clicksure, writes David Duffy.
Clicksure, based in Oxford, said jamjar.com met the standard for best business practice throughout its operation.
Mark Godfrey, Direct Line's e-commerce marketing director, said: "Fundamental to the jamjar.com proposition is that customers feel confident using the site and trust our service and delivery.
"Working with Clicksure has helped instil that confidence."
Clicksure chief executive Christopher Upton said: "Clicksure is very pleased to be involved in the exciting launch of jamjar.com.
"This demonstrates the importance of the Clicksure standard for high value e-transactions such as cars creating a high level of trust and developing long-term business relationships with their customers is essential.
