Bicester & North Oxford eased their relegation fears by thumping third-placed Finchampstead by seven wickets on Saturday.
Skipper Darryl Woods won the toss and asked the visitors to bat on a damp track, and Mark Stanway made the early breakthrough.
He also captured the crucial wicket of Aussie superstar Jon Moss, who popped up a catch to Connor O'Brien at square leg.
Paul Jeacock and Graham Savin mopped up a dejected lower order as Finchampstead were dismissed for 104.
Bicester themselves made a less than auspicious start, losing both openers early on, but then Oxfordshire skipper Rob Williams took the bull by the horns, scoring 50 off 39 balls to end the game by tea.=
