Marketing agency Stop Press is the first business to move into the new Harwell Innovation Centre, writes Sarah Parker.

The design and marketing communications agency is owned and managed by directors Jane and Alan Mason, who have secured a contract as a design supplier to the Department of the Environment, Transport and the Regions.

The new design studio at Harwell has a team of designers producing brochures, newsletters, presentation graphics, exhibition posters and website design.

Alan Mason said: "Effective marketing communications is essential for every business, so our high-quality design, literature and internet production services are in demand.

"If a business has a problem promoting their company or a product or service they want to launch, we are always pleased to visit and talk the way forward."

Clients include small and medium-sized enterprises through to corporate companies such as Renault UK and many hi-tech companies. The company has also just become an e-commerce partner for BT. General manager Peter Morse added: "This will enable us to install Internet services and host e-commerce sites."
