Alchester's Andy Bayley undertook one of the ultimate athletic challenges by tackling the 'Iron Man' triathlon.
Organised by the Black Country triathletes from Wolverhampton, the 'High 5 Longest Day Triathlon' consisted of three phases of competition.
Bayley opened up by recording 1hr 18mins for the 2.4-mile swim in the Gailey Reservoir before completing a gruelling bike ride of 112 miles in 6hrs and 3mins.
Competing along a disused railway track before finishing at the Aldersley Athletics Stadium, he then ran the marathon distance of 26.2 miles in 4hrs and 29mins.
It saw him finish around 130th in 11hrs and 54mins.
