Shop owner David Eggleton was jailed for eight months for stocking his businesses with stolen goods from burglaries.
Eggleton, 42, of Gainsborough Road, Henley, was convicted by a jury of four counts of handling stolen goods. He was found not guilty of three other charges. He was sentenced at Reading Crown Court to four terms of eight months, to run concurrently.
His trial at Oxford Crown Court had heard victims of burglaries had been to Eggleton's shops, Barnyard Bric-a-brac and Treasures in Henley, and identified stolen items. Police searched his home and found televisions, jewellery, video recorders and household items that were also stolen. During his trial, Eggleton said he carried out house clearances and bought things from car boot sales but could not remember where the stolen items came from.
