Witney professional Paul Simpson went top of the PGA Southern Tour Order of Merit after victory in the Greene King Masters at Moatlands, Tonbridge.
Simpson opened up with rounds of 72 and 68, and was lying third on four under par when he teed up on the final day.
After a front nine featuring two birdies and a bogey, he was still a shot behind Moatlands' Simon Wood when he turned for home.
But Simpson fired five birdies to come home in a stunning 32 for a round of 67 and a nine-under-par total of 207.
The 29-year-old, the touring pro at West Berks, walked away with a cheque for 1,800.
Former Ryder Cup player Paul Way was tied fifth, while Banbury Golf Centre professional Ian Mosey was equal 28th after rounds of 78, 72 and 73 for a seven-over total of 223.
The next event on the PGA Southern Tour is the Southern Region Par 3 Championship at Burgess Hill next Thursday and Friday.
