Witney Tn 1, Baldock Tn 1
A Goal from Geoff Neville midway through the second half was enough to give Witney a share of the Dr Martens Eastern Division points yesterday despite having to play the last 20 minutes with ten men, writes JON ADAWAY.
Gary Swann was controversially sent off in the 68th minute for a second bookable offence following a late tackle, but Witney held on.
The visitors created two chances, Carl Henry seeing a header cleared off the line and Richard Bourne heading wide before Baldock took the lead on 25 minutes when Walker took advantage of a lucky ricochet.
Witney nearly equalised soon after when Knight went close, and then Neville fired wide.
A fine block by keeper Tom King denied Baldock early in the second half but Witney forced an equaliser when Neville broke clean through and fired home in the 66th minute.
