Charities are being offered cut-price overseas deliveries by air express carrier DHL Oxford, writes Sarah Parker.
The special rate, available to charities registered with the UK charity commission, will reduce operational costs for international express.
The first charity to benefit from the rate, Save the Children, helped develop the new tariff.
DHL says charities will save more than 60 per cent on both inbound and outbound international document and parcel express, as well as a significant discount on international mail.
Other charities to sign up to the DHL Moving Mountains Charities tariff include Oxford-based Oxfam as well as Voluntary Services Overseas, Plan International, Amnesty International UK and Action Aid.
