Seventeen-year-old Darren Drew lifted the Men's Club Championship at Studley Wood but the young star could only manage second place in the junior version.
The five-handicapper shot rounds of 77 and 72 for a three-over-par total of 149 and victory by one shot over Austin Siggers and defending champion James Mortimer.
Mortimer was three shots clear after a first-round 74 on the Saturday, but he could, only manage a 76 on the Sunday.
Siggers, who was also runner-up last year, had opened with a 77. The handicap winner was Charlie Hoggett Snr with a nett total of 138.
In the Junior Championship, Drew was second best to ten- handicapper Tom Wheeler, who fired a fabulous round of 76, three ahead of Drew.
Wheeler's round won him the nett prize by one shot from 20-handicapper Duncam Macintosh, who shot 87 for a nett 67.
