A delightfully gentle comedy, Old World, by Aleksei Arbuzov, which originally starred Peggy Ashcroft and Anthony Quayle when it was premiered by the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1976, is now being staged at the Watermill Theatre, Bagnor, until Saturday September 30. It's the story of a doctor and his slightly eccentric patient who are both in their autumnal years. From the moment they meet they set up a quirky communication which slowly brings them together to find the happiness which has eluded them both for so many years.
