Classic Press Cherwell League - Division 3A
Kidlington had to win to stand a chance of overtaking Witney Mills at the top, and therefore inserted Abingdon Vale, who went on to make 199-6, with Alec Inns (84) and Paul Edwards (47 no) leading the way.
Kidlington set off like a rocket in reply, scoring 50 from the first eight overs, but with Paul White taking 4-44 and Ben Humpage 5-34, they were reduced to 156-9 from a rain-curtailed 32 overs.
