Southern Counties North report
Forced to field seven second-teamers and with flanker James Davies operating at scrum half, Bicester succumbed 34-16 at Beaconsfield.
The home side's policy of running the ball at every opportunity paid dividends during a 15 minute spell at the start of the second half when they ran in three tries.
Until then, Bicester had the edge and turned round only 12-9. Their first-half points came via a hat-trick of penalty goals by fly half Stuart Cassidy.
After Beaconsfield had made the game safe, Bicester rallied in the closing stages and scored an interception through Andy Nash, converted by Cassidy.
