Michael Bateman hit a hat-trick as Cowley Workers, who swept all before them last season under the banner of County Snooker, opened their campaign with a resounding 4-0 win at Old Headington.
Prolific marksman Damien Brackett completed Cowley's tally.
Another hat-trick hero was Delroy Thomas in Blackbird Leys' 5-3 win at home to Tetsworth.
Michael Yearwood bagged a brace to make up Blackbird's five-timer.
Great Milton edged out AFC Jericho 5-4. Gavin Cartwright (2), Tom Shephard (2) and Toby Baughan were the Milton marksmen.
Barton won 3-2 at Fairview. Barry John Butler scored first, then Gerard Nugent netted and Phil Stokes crashed home a 30-yard drive.
In Division 1, Oxford Community Church enjoyed a tremendous start by crushing East Oxford 6-0. They scored three in each half with David Anderson (2), Ken Luff (2), James Riley and Paul Wildman doing the damage.
Nuffield Arms won 3-0 at the Cavalier with goals from Mark Hume, veteran Gary Baiden and John Platt.
Dean Jeffers hit a hat-trick as Blackbird Leys Res won 6-1 against newcomers Union Street. Jimmy Townsend (2) and Graham Hambridge also netted.
