Ray Sturgess was the hero of the day as Littlemore's match for the Aggregate Cup/Angling Times Plus final round produced some fantastic weights, writes Peter stone.
Fishing at HMS Dryad, 22 anglers, from a field of 35, put an incredible 1028lb on the scales.
Sturgess set a new club record with a 96.8.0 bag of carp. Second place went to Lee Rudman with 81.3.0 and Frank Hardie was third with 75.4.0.
For Frank Hardie it was a really special day. He won the chance to represent the club in the Angling Times Plus Clubman finals, having taken two wins and a third place in other matches.
Hardie also picked up the Aggregate Cup, with his weights from Drayton, Clattercote and Dryad totalling 201.8.0.
