Back-in-charge manager Denis Smith got his young troops together at the end of training yesterday to remind them about having the right attitude.
And he urged them now to come up with some league points from two tough away matches this week.
United visit Adams Park tonight to take on Wycombe Wanderers in a local derby which is being shown live on SKY, before travelling to Smith's old club Stoke City on Wednesday.
"We've produced some good performances, now we need to start getting some points," Smith said. "I couldn't believe how well we played in the first half against Wolves, but in the second half we showed what a young side we are. I thought at the time that Wolves getting a man sent off was the worst thing that could happen to us, because the crowd then suddenly expected us to win and we stopped playing."
