Banbury will lift the inaugural Home Counties League Premier Division title if they beat Basingstoke & North Hants at home tomorrow, writes Richard Tilley.
The north Oxfordshire side lead second-placed High Wycombe by 11 points going into the final game.
And although Banbury can, in theory, afford to lose or draw if Wycombe slip up, skipper Neil Megson is convinced that his men are going to need to win to claim the crown.
"High Wycombe will trounce Beaconsfield, I have no doubt about that," he said. "It is up to us to beat Basingstoke.
"But we're used to playing these massive games. Since about the fifth game of the season every game has been an important one.
"The last two weeks against Beaconsfield and Wycombe have been even more pressure matches, and despite looking down the barrel at times in both of them, the boys have come through.
"I expect us to do the same again tomorrow."
Neal Radford is still struggling with an ankle injury, but he is expected to be fit to bowl.
