A feature of Kidlington's match for the Joan Hill Memorial Trophy was a huge catch of bleak.
The match, fished at Clifton, was won by Alan Middleton with 6.13.8, consisting of 250 bleak and one pound of roach.
Middleton fished maggot 'handlebar' fashion in conjunction with a whip and counted each bleak as he caught them.
Second place went to Henry Clarke with 6.10.0 of roach taken on pole/hemp and Dick Cullen was third with 5.13.0 of roach.
