Skipper Martin Brown could be back in contention for Thame United's trip to Walton & Hersham in Ryman League Division 1 after fears that he had suffered a fractured vertebra proved unfounded.
The centre back was confined to his bed for two days after the intital X-rays, but a further scan proved it was just ligament damage.
A late decision will be made on Brown, but Thame, who will be keen to bounce back following their shock FA Cup exit at the hands of Carterton on Tuesday, have central defender Rob Smith fit again following a thigh strain and striker Adam Hamp could make his first team debut.
