Didcot Phoenix's Les Lloyd was the top local finisher in the Super Series cyclo-cross season opened at Oxford School.
The 49-year-old was fifth, 4 mins and 36 secs behind winner Stuart Bowers (1 hr 3 mins 15 secs).
Lloyd's nephew and Phoenix clubmate, Paul Lloyd, was sixth, 50 seconds behind his uncle, while Dave Lloyd Paul's dad was 18th, one lap behind.
Geoff Booker and Steve Shellard have tied for Oxonian's Sir Walter Gray Trophy, awarded to the best all-round rider across the disciplines of time trialling, hilly events and cyclo-cross. Both scored 91 points out of a possible total of 100.
