Bill Davis, from Wallingford continued his fine run when he topped the weights on Berks &Oxon match fished on Benson AA's water.
His winning bag of 13.4.0 consisted of 5.3.0 of roach taken on the float and 8.1.0 of chub taken on the feeder.
Graham Ferguson was second with 11.2.0 of chub and Mick Marriott was third with 8.8.0.
Fair weights were recorded in the Thame Championship fished on the river Thame.
Top bag went to S Crowfoot (Tring B) with 15.14.8, A McCormack (K B Tackle) was second with 14.8.0 and J Cox (Undertakers) third with 12.3.0. Just five blanks were recorded among the 144 competitors (36 teams of four).
Although it looked in good condition, competitors on Kidlington's Harry Parsons match found the river in dour mood, with weights far below expectations.
Top bag went to Dave Scott-Picton with 4.2.0 consisting of one chub (2.8.0) and roach taken on legered maggot.
Craig Partridge was second with 3.14.0 of bits taken on pole/maggot and Julian Humm third with 3.13.0
