Banbury Utd 3, Bashley 3
Banbury shared six goals with high-riding Bashley in a thrilling Dr Martens Eastern Division encounter on Saturday.
The home side got off to a stunning start and were ahead inside three minutes.
Garry Harrison headed on for Matty Gooderick, who outpaced two Bashley defenders before slipping the ball past 'keeper Dean May.
Four minutes later, under-strength Banbury made it 2-0, slack defending allowing Gooderick to score from ten yards.
Bashley pulled a goal back through Dave Goss in the 13th minute following a corner which was only half cleared, and the visitors equalised just before the break when defender Simon Elley powered home a header from a corner.
Bashley came out for the second half with more fight and less finesse, and in the 54th minute Goss gave them the lead from another set piece.
Banbury came back with stunning effect as Harrison, spotting keeper May off his line, netted the goal of the game with a 25-yard lob.
