Gary Scott was fined 40 for being drunk and disorderly after a row with the mother of his young daughter, magistrates heard.

Police were called to an address in Abingdon just before 1am on October 6 when they heard a man shouting in a flat, said Laurie Kelleher, prosecuting.

He added: "Scott appeared to be severely under the influence and he was taken outside where he continued to be aggresive."

Mr Kelleher said Scott told police he had drunk two cans of Special Brew lager, a litre of white cider and two glasses of vodka.

At Didcot Magistrates' Court Scott, 31, of Southmoor Way, Abingdon, pleaded guilty and was ordered to pay 55 costs.

Paddy Roche, defending, said: "The explosive incident marked the end of an eight-year relationship with his partner. They have a little girl." Mr Roche added that Scott could not remember much about what happened when the police were called.
