(SLM, 3.99)
Mendelsohn has put together a useful and interestingly laid-out guide to everything well, almost everything that 14 to 18-year-olds need to know about but which they won't necessarily learn at school. While it is probably a little optimistic, for instance, to expect a 14-year-old would look at this book while planning to run away from home, it deserves to be carefully read as it is extremely well researched with details of local contacts for almost everything a teenager could possibly need when in trouble. It is packed with telephone numbers and addresses of helpful organisations.
