Folk music fans will be descending on Banbury on Saturday, October 14 when The Mill hosts a one-day festival, presented by the Ride a Cock Horse Folk Club. The headline act of the Folk 'n' Good Music Day is the Dylan Project, which features Dave Pegg, Simon Nicol and Gerry Conway, of Fairport Convention, and rockers Steve Gibbons and PJ Wright for a celebration of the music of Bob Dylan. Also performing is that popular singer from the north-east, Bob Fox, who was one of Fairport's guests at this year's Cropredy Festival. Solo singer Vikki Clayton, will be also be there. Among the bands invited are Meet on the Ledge, Epona and the Gravelly Hillbillies. Morris dancing, a ceilidh, singarounds and workshops are arranged as well as events for children. The festival gets underway at 10am and goes on until midnight.
