Singers helped raise money for hospices by joining a worldwide "Hallelujah" chorus.
Musicians at St Mary's Church, Kidlington, formed an impromptu choir on Saturday evening, to sing Handel's Messiah. The event was repeated by choirs in six continents as part of the international BT Voices for Hospices campaign.
Organiser Kathryn Ellis, of St Mary's Rectory, Mill Street, said: "The building of new hospices in our area is something for which we may each have cause to feel thankful at some point in our lives."
