The first reunion for friends from a youth fellowship is set to become an annual event.
More than 30 members of Thame Young People's Fellowship, which closed in 1956, turned up.
Organiser Steve Summersbee said: "It was marvellous to see so many old friends again."
The fellowship was an ecumenical group based round the old tin church, All Saints' Church, which used to stand behind the police station in Chinnor Road.
Mr Summersbee and his wife June met there and they were presented with flowers and a picture of the church.
