Oxford University, who have won the opening three games of their domestic campaign, face a tough test at home to a strong Wasps side tonight (7.15), writes Michael Knox.

The Blues' strong pack, which has laid the platform for those successes, sees a couple of enforced changes.

US Eagles prop Ray Lenher misses the game with a shoulder injury, and will be replaced by Tom Ellis, while commanding second row forward Simon Miall is suffering from an elbow infection.

However, good news for the Blues is that giant American lock Adam Russell is fit again and will partner Charlie Edwards in a new-look second-row combination.

Luke Sherriff, who has played at lock all season, reverts to the back row where he impressed in last year's Varsity Match.

This time, Sherriff will be at No 8, with Ed Hallett and the livewire Jason Bolger on the flanks.

The Blues backs have not clicked this season, although there were signs of an improvement in their victory over Bath last week.

Fly half Seb FitzGerald made several dangerous runs to score two tries, but will be trying to involve his centres more against Wasps.

Nick Marsh reverts to full back, as Will Rubie, whose last-minute try against Bath brought the crowd to its feet, joins the casualty list.

Wasps field former England winger Paul Sampson and other players with first-class experience including centres Fraser Waters and Laurence Scrase.
