Benson produced the result of the day when they sent unbeaten Divison 2 leaders Botley United crashing to a 5-1 defeat on their own patch, writes Andy Wells.
Teddy Carter (2), Ian Dawson, James Passey and Tom Tuckwell were on target, but the star of the show was 16-year-old Alan Ring.
Marcham stay second after their 4-1 result at Stanford-in- the-Vale.
Dave Galliford (2), Steve Lewis and Andy Chalmers did the damage, with Robert Crook replying for Stanford.
Coleshill United are also handily placed after goals from Scott Griffin and Matthew Bugden gave them a 2-1 success at Saxton Rovers Res.
Steventon gained a useful point in a 2-2 draw at Childrey United. Goals from Craig Bell and Peter Wilkinson for Steventon matched a brace from Childrey's Neil Smith. In Divison 1, Martin Parsons hit a hat-trick as free-scoring Harwell International thrashed Sutton Courtenay 6-1.
Lee Newport took his tally for the season to 12, and Steve Cuddon and Ian Carnell also netted.
Fourteen-year-old Chris Benson opened the scoring for Faringdon Town in their 1-1 draw against Harwell Vill- age.
Division 3 leaders Shrivenham Res made it six wins on the trot as they walloped Challow United 6-0.
Alex Green and Neil Batten grabbed two apiece with Andy Davis and Matty Hirst also netting.
Wootton & Dry Sandford also have a 100 per cent record after their 4-2 win at Harwell International Res.
Clive Thomas (2), Gary Dennie and Robert Pickford scored for Wootton with John Wheeler and Nick Guiry replying. Faringdon Town Res maintained their perfect record with a convincing 4-1 win over Stanford Res. Craig Gaynor (2), Steve Huggins and Troy Redman found the net.
There seems to be no stopping Ardington & Lockinge in Division 4 as they got the better of Northcroft 7-4.
Jamie Drake (2), veteran Kevin O'Hanlon (2), Chris Whitworth, Graham Lawrence and John Buchanan made up Ardington's magnificent seven.
Mark Panting hit a hat-trick as Drayton Res crushed Botley Res 5-0. Steve Steptoe and Graham Cole completed the rout.
Wallingford A maintained their 100 per cent record with a 5-2 win over Sutton Courtenay Res. Johnny Dawson and Steve Gesner each bagged a pair with Johnny Taylor sealing the victory.
