The audience is likely to start humming along to some of the well-known tunes from The Boy Friend when the musical is staged by the Witney Dramatic Society.
The 1920s musical by Sandy Wilson will be performed at the Corn Exchange, Witney, from Thursday to Saturday.
The 18-strong cast includes several teenagers, among them Kelly Rose, who plays Polly, a young lady at a Nice finishing school desperate for a boyfriend. The messenger boy she falls for, Bobby, is played by Greg Stockwell. The action all takes place in just one day with plenty of singing and dancing.
Grace Wells is the director, Keith Harris musical director, Carol Lee producer and Lesley Morris voice coach.
Curtain up is at 7.45pm each night and tickets, at 5 and 6, can be bought from Greenway Antiques, Corn Street, or from Mrs Lee on 01993 774364.
