CROWN House A are the only side in Division 1 of the Oxford and District League to gain maximum points from their first two matches of the new campaign, writes Luke Smith.
A 9-1 victory away to Morris Motors B was followed by a home win over Forum B. Brothers Andy and Ian Packford were in excellent form.
Crown included new signing Ray Powell, the former Swindon No 1, in their line-up.
Chief rivals Forum A were 6-4 winners against Morris Motors A.
Crown and Forum clash in the third match of the season.
In Division 2, there were no fewer than three draws in week one, while victories for Forum E and Crown House B establish them as early leaders.
No 1 county junior girl Joanne O'Donovan, of Kidlington Forum H, had a fine start to the season with three convincing victories against St James C in Division 3.
Simon Witney, of Haddenham, followed suit with a maximum win over Viking Flames.
