Substitute Scott Ollif scored an 85th-minute winner for Brewery Tap as they beat neighbours Athletico Indaline 2-1 to go three points clear at the top of Division 1, writes Mick Day.
Kenny Rogers gave Tap the lead after 35 minutes with a drive from just outside the box but Mark Haynes levelled with the final kick of the first half.
Ollif justified his recent transfer from Sutton Sunday when he spun and fired home the winner.
Berinsfield United, who lost ace marksman Steve Bateman early on with a hamstring injury, went down 4-0 at home against Chilton. Lee Newport gave them the lead at the break and they steamed ahead with second half strikes from Mark Porter (2) and player-manager Bob Saunders.
Andy Dix netted four times for Long Wittenham as they overcame Rutherford Lab 5-0 in Division 2. Scott Anderson got the fifth.
King Alfreds Head gained a resounding 10-2 win at Crispin Harwell. Chris Roach grabbed a hat-trick on his debut, with other strikes coming from Mark Hendry (3), John Buchanan, Mark Aitken, Warren Griffin and Chris Whitworth. Andy Hayward and Tom Popple replied. A late strike from Andy McElroy helped second division side Standlake Garage through to the second round of the Devenney Cup. His goal gave Garage the edge with a 3-2 win against a well-drilled Medisense team from Division 3.
Medisense twice led through Danny Parry and Ebba Silla, but Carl Lyon equalised each time before Andy McElroy claimed the winner for Garage with ten minutes left.
Witney Elm Tree had less trouble against third division opposition, cruising to a 14-2 win at The Vine Cumnor. Scorers for Elm Tree were Ryan Pratley (4), substitute Phil Dalton (4), Seb Wilsker (3), Wayne LePage (2) and Darren Mills.
Saxton Rovers saw off an under-strength Burford United 3-1 with strikes from Dave Hawthorne (2) and Matty Goodman. Del Hewson scored a late consolation for the visitors. Division 3B leaders Prince of Wales crushed JET 8-1 with strikes from Ali Down (3), Jamie Copping (2), Warren Eadle (2) and Wayne Kelly. Paul Nixon scored for JET.
Goals from Andy Trevelyan (2), Alex Clanfield and Andy Rowland saw Forest Hill through 4-2 against OUP Wanderers, for whom Chris Tuffrey and Alan Payne scored.
