A teenager admitted slashing a schoolboy with a blade after bullying him and demanding that he hand over his trainers.
The 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named because of his age, had demanded the pupil hand over 20 and cut him with a three-inch bladed on the arm and chest outside Cheney School, Headington, Oxford. He also slashed the boy's coat and 120 Nike trainers.
The victim needed two stitches in each wound and was scared to leave his house after the incident on October 3. The teenager admitted at Oxford Youth Court yesterday attempted robbery, criminal damage and unlawful wounding.
Magistrates accepted jurisdiction and remanded the boy in secure accommodation until November 15 at 2.15pm for reports to be prepared.
