Wolvercote's Chris Woods, the 25-year-old light middleweight from Marston, was in impressive form at Meadway Sports Centre, Reading, this week, beating Daniel Taylor, from Foley ABC in Surrey, on points.
Clubmate Yuri Andregg also won his welterweight bout, beating Hamed Bharji, of Walcot ABC, Swindon, on a majority points decision.
Wolvercote's Mark Dibsdall lost on points to army champion Jason Greaves, from Aldershot, after a close but exciting battle.
Wolvercote are holding a dinner show on Friday, October 27 at Exeter Hall, Kidlington. There will be up to 14 fights during the evening and tickets at 25 per head are available from 01865 559374, or 01993 774407.
