Unison employees in Oxford's leisure services department will lobby city councillors meeting at the Town Hall today over proposals to privatise the Ferry Sports Centre in Summertown.
The protestors, who have launched a Keep Our Leisure Services Public campaign, are asking for public support.
They fear the centre could be taken over by one of two companies which have put bids in to the council.
The council's leisure services sub-committee, which meets to consider the move, may also give the all-clear to putting the Ice Rink's shop, bar and cafe out to tender.
