Winger Josh Jones scored a sparkling hat-trick of tries as Chinnor cruised to a 44-7 win over High Wycombe in the South West Division 2 East.
The Australian pounced first after 15 minutes when he latched on to a crossfield bomb and outstripped the cover defence to score under the posts.
His second try came from a quick tap penalty on the halfway line, the ball being moved through seven pairs of hands before Jones sprinted past several defenders to dive in at the corner.
Jones had to wait until the 79th minute to complete his hat-trick when Jon Brooks put him clear.
Chinnor's performance of power and pace was simply too much for plucky High Wycombe as the back row combination of Matt Green, Paul Hennessy and Matthew Cooke dominated the loose.
Chinnor had stormed into a 27-0 half-time lead with Jones's two tries and others from props Simon Matthews and Gary Woodburn. Conor Begley converted two and kicked a penalty.
Wycombe deservedly scored in the corner.
This gave Chinnor a wake-up call and they raised their game to score tries from Cooke, replacement Tom Whelan and Jones. Begley converted Whelan's try.
