Oxfordshire's County Championship match against Bedfordshire at Cowley Community Centre went down to the last game, with the home side losing out 19-17.
Oxon Ladies' B started off well with a 4-2 victory, but the Men's B team could not get going and went down 8-4.
The Ladies A side paid for missing out on their doubles as they lost 4-2.
Trailing 14-10 going into the men's A match, Oxon, inspired by man-of-the-match Steve Foster with an average of 29.47, made it a nip-and-tuck affair. But their 7-5 victory was not quite enough.
Jim Allen received a certificate for playing 150 games for Oxon.
